Cursor Cost Optimization

Cut your Cursor bill. OhChimp finds inactive seats, barely-used seats, and usage-based overage by member, then verifies the saving on your real bill.

How does OhChimp connect to Cursor?

OhChimp connects with a read-only Cursor team Admin API key over HTTP Basic auth. At connect time it lists your team members to confirm the key works, then reads daily usage and month-to-date spend. It reads seat and usage metadata only. It never stores your application data, secrets, or the code you write in Cursor.

Does OhChimp need write access or see my code?

No. The Admin API key is read-only. OhChimp reads your member roster, per-member daily usage, and spend totals to find unused seats. It never stores your application data, secrets, or the code you write in Cursor.

What Cursor costs does OhChimp actually reduce?

Three things: seats with zero active days in the window (cancellation candidates), active but barely-used seats with no agent or composer requests (review candidates), and usage-based overage, ranked by each member's real month-to-date spend. It also reports your team-wide active-seat percentage so you can see how much of your seat spend is idle.

Who applies the changes, and can they be rolled back?

You do. Each fix is a reviewable plan with a confidence score, a risk level, and rollback steps. Reclaiming a Cursor seat happens in your Cursor team settings, and nothing changes until you click apply.

How are the savings verified, and how is OhChimp priced?

Savings are checked against your real Cursor bill. A plan is marked VERIFIED only after 7 or more days, a drop of at least 10%, and 3 consecutive positive checks, otherwise it stays flagged "not implemented." Pricing is a flat monthly fee with no cut of your savings, plus a year-one ROI guarantee: a full refund of subscription fees if it does not pay for itself in the first 12 months on a paid plan.
